TwELFs has existed for more than eight months. We’re soon reaching out first year anniversary. We started this with five founders.. we have grown so much since and now we have 36 staffs to provide the best for our forever amazing 17k followers. We started this on Twitter and Tumblr, later we decided to make this a trademark of our own. We decided to buy a domain, TwELFs.com.
Our first and foremost intention since the first time has only been to share this wonder of Super Junior with ELFs, so it has become our policy not to ask for donations of any kind to keep the fun alive. However, as the number of visitors increases and the blog traffic rank gets higher, we were afraid we could no longer please our readers enough with our current facilities.
You may have still remember how visiting our blog used to be really difficult with our first server. So we moved to a much better server. Nevertheless, you may have noticed that even now, some of you still experience database error especially when there is a big influx of visitors.
We then decided to enhance our fansite service for our readers’ ease and comfort. We are sorry to say that unfortunately the price has become unaffordable for the five of us. TwELFs.com is currently hosted by a shared hosting provider which costs us $55/year. This cost has been covered til the next year so we have nothing to worry about. However, to maximize our site’s performance (optimizing page load time), we have recently subscribed to CDN service provider. They charge us based on the total bandwidth used per month with $0.150/GB pricing. In the first week, we have used up to $20. That means the total cost per month will be $80-120.
We are humbly asking you to help -to work together with us in keeping this blog alive. We do this thinking of only you and how you can have great time with us. No pressure. Any amount of donations will be highly appreciated. They’re all gonna come back to you anyway.
Unfortunately, for now we only accept paypal. Just click the button provided above or on the sidebar.
Thank you
Love,
-Admins
