Super Junior-M visited popular Taiwanese TV show “Nation’s Big Party” (全民最大黨) on December 7th to meet their famous rivals/impersonators. Comedian Kuo Tze-Cheng (郭子乾) was originally set to impersonate South Korea President Lee Myung-Bak, and prepared to welcome them with a speech in Korean. However, the group would prefer not to be associated with politics so the skit had to be cancelled.

“Big Party” producers stated that they will not broadcast any parts with impersonation of President Lee Myung-Bak. However, Kuo Tze-Cheng insisted on watching off-stage in full presidential make-up, he said, “You guys don’t have treat me like the president, just think of me as an old man.” His appearance was so realistic that the SJ-M members can’t help but bow to him. Kuo Tze-Cheng wasn’t worried that his Korean speech would be wasted, “No problem! I will do it with my “Jerry Yan” impersonation a bit later.”
Cast members Chen Han-Dian and Honduras’ androgynous impersonation of Girls’ Generation made SJ-M feel sick.
Super Junior’s “Sorry Sorry” became hugely popular in Taiwan after cast members of “Nation’s Big Party” impersonated their dance earlier this year. Comedian Ah-Ken disguised himself as leader Leeteuk and led his crew “Super Juni-er” (Super juni兒) to a dance battle with Hangeng and Donghae. He arrogantly asked, “This dance has been modified, you guys better match us.”
Siwon begged for mercy as Na-Dou got beaten up.
The celebration party didn’t finish until 3 AM, with realistic performances from the cast members that even somewhat frightened SJ-M. Siwon helped to beg for mercy when comedian Na-Dou (納豆) was beaten up by Ah-Ken and Cong-Cong (從從) with a foam stick; Cong-Cong also accidentally hit himself with a piece of wood, and got a big bump on his head. Hangeng explained that he was moved by the casts’ over-the-top craziness, “Thank you very much, they put a lot of effort (into the show).” The show will air on December 31st at 9PM on CtiTV.

Male idol group Shinee’s Taemin, MBLAQ’s Thunder & Super Junior’s Eunhyuk have challenged each other in a dance battle.
Shinee Taemin, MBLAQ’s Thunder & Brown Eyed Girls have been guests on a recently epsidoe of the show KBS Drama “Super Junior’s miracle”. On that filming day, MC Leeteuk asked the student who needs help to achieve the dream “Who is the member that you trust most ?” which he/she chose Eunhyuk. Right after that Taemin & Thunder both have challenged Eunhyuk to a dance battle on the spot.
The three had made the astmosphere of the show become hot by their powerful and special dance performance. After the dance battle, Leeteuk aksed the student again which member does he/she trust most and he/she still chose Eunhyuk which Taemin and Thunder couldnt hide their disappointment.
The dance battle between Super Junior Eunhyuk, Shinee Taemin & MBLAQ Thunder will be aired at 10AM on December 5th in the show “Super Junior’s miracle”.

Why I love Super Junior? I wasn’t into K-Pop when Super Junior debuted, I started noticing them only after they released Sorry Sorry (in my opinion, THE song that shot them to superstardom and got them where they are right now). My first impression of them was “Why so many members?” and “What’s with the haircut?” While watching EHB, it was then when I realized that these boys began to grow on me. They have a nonchalant approach to fame and they don’t take themselves too seriously, that’s a quality I rarely find in other K-Pop groups. I realize in Korean entertainment world, idol images are shaped and they have to maintain that, but every so often, with SJ members, their real personalities appear in interviews, variety shows, radio broadcasts and especially Super Show. They way they interact with each other make me feel like I’m watching the boys-next-door, approachable, funny, dorky and humble. I guess that imperfection shows that they are real and relatable.
Why I love TwELFs and SPL? When I first started collecting information about Super Junior, I stumbled upon several fanbases, but TwELFs stood out to my attention immediately for several reasons: quality content, good English, pleasing to the eyes & easy to navigate.Like any other new converts, I joined in the fandom bandwagon and participated with gusto especially on Trending Topic projects. I was surprised to know that TwELFs founders were still in college, because they ran a tight ship with the blog and Twitter account. I was even more pleasantly surprised when I communicated via Twitter with the founders, because they were so friendly and unpretentious.
TwELFs blog has meaty content without sacrificing entertainment value. It is informational without sounding too serious and at the same time, provides all the fun tidbits for fans –newly minted or veteran.
SPL is oozing with creativity (e.g. forum members referred to as Students and Super Junior members as Professors!) and over a short period of time has gained the reputation of being one of the most acclaimed international forums for ELFs. SPL keeps making changes for the better and continues to carry out credible projects for Super Junior and ELFs. SPL is a labor of love, and I salute the people behind it, who are such dedicated hard-workers.
