The concept book to commemorate Han Geng having flown solo for a year, Han Geng 1221’s book cover was released today, along with the scheduling of a book signing/selling event on 12/21/10 at 2:00 in the afternoon at Shi Jing Shan Wan Da Plaza.
In the contents of Han Geng 1221, there will be exclusive pictures of the beginning of 2010 in the three months before he came out to the media. Singer Defconn’s digital single Kingwangjjang has been censored from being played on national TV after it received a decision from the broadcasting regulation commission.
The management company Di Music revealed on December 2nd, “KBS prohibited the use of the word “Kingwangjjang.” They said the song was violent. MBC and SBS prohibited the song saying the lyrics “one punch, three teeth” illustrates violence.”
The management company said, “each broadcasting company has their own criteria on censorship. We feel it’s unfair to simply conclude a song as violent.” The management company has given up on repealing the decision of KBS censorship commission. The company will revise the parts that pose problems for the commissions and will resubmit the song to MBC and SBS.

Super Junior’s member Kim Heechul has taken over Radio Star’s MC position for Shin Junghwan.
Kim Heechul participated in the taping of MBC Golden Fishery-Radio Star on December 1st as the official member to work with Kim Gookjin, Yoon Jongshin and Kim Goora.
Radio Star has been recently using temporary MCs to replace Shin Junghwan who quit after his controversy with overseas gambling. After competing with Kim Taewon, Moon Heejun and Tony An, Kim Heechul joined as the official MC.
A representative of Golden Fishery said, “alll four temporary MCs did well and we are thankful to them. Among them, Kim Heechul was the one who worked with the other MCs. We determined that as the maknae, he was the right person to lead Radio Star.”
A rep added, “we think of other temporary MCs as Radio Star’s family. We are thinking of doing a special with them.”
Kim Heechul who joins Radio Star as the official MC appeared alongside Psy and Lee Juk on the show previously. He showed his great talking skills by creating a breath of fresh air in the show.
During December 1st taping, Kim heechul looked happy and confident as the official MC.
A representative of Golden Fishery said, “Kim Heechul especially works well with Kim Goora. He made everyone laugh by standing up to formidable Kim Goora.”

Defcon’s management company Di Music revealed on November 25th, “Kim Heechul wrote the rap to the song and is featured in the song. It is the first time that they have worked together.”

SM Entertainment’s new ballad group S.M. The Ballad has postponed the release date of their upcoming album.
SM announced Thursday that S.M. The Ballad’s first album “Longing For You,” originally set to go on sale today, will hit online and offline stores on November 29, while the title track of the same name will be available on various online music sites a day before the album’s release.
The decision comes with the country being in a state of grievance after North Korea fired scores of artillery shells at a South Korean island near the border in the Yellow Sea on Tuesday, killing two soldiers and two civilians and injuring dozens of others.
“Longing For You” is a ballad track which expresses the sadness of a man who cannot hang onto the love of his life.
The upcoming album will feature a total of five tracks including Super Junior member Kyuhyun’s solo song “Once Again…I Love You” and TRAX’s Jay’s tune “Tomorrow…”
S.M. The Ballad, composed also of SHINee’s Jonghyun and new singer Jino, is a ballad project formed by top Korean agency SM. Their album will also feature collaborations with various singers including Brown Eyed Soul’s Jung-yup and Eco Bridge Honeydew’O.

Why I love Super Junior? I wasn’t into K-Pop when Super Junior debuted, I started noticing them only after they released Sorry Sorry (in my opinion, THE song that shot them to superstardom and got them where they are right now). My first impression of them was “Why so many members?” and “What’s with the haircut?” While watching EHB, it was then when I realized that these boys began to grow on me. They have a nonchalant approach to fame and they don’t take themselves too seriously, that’s a quality I rarely find in other K-Pop groups. I realize in Korean entertainment world, idol images are shaped and they have to maintain that, but every so often, with SJ members, their real personalities appear in interviews, variety shows, radio broadcasts and especially Super Show. They way they interact with each other make me feel like I’m watching the boys-next-door, approachable, funny, dorky and humble. I guess that imperfection shows that they are real and relatable.
Why I love TwELFs and SPL? When I first started collecting information about Super Junior, I stumbled upon several fanbases, but TwELFs stood out to my attention immediately for several reasons: quality content, good English, pleasing to the eyes & easy to navigate.Like any other new converts, I joined in the fandom bandwagon and participated with gusto especially on Trending Topic projects. I was surprised to know that TwELFs founders were still in college, because they ran a tight ship with the blog and Twitter account. I was even more pleasantly surprised when I communicated via Twitter with the founders, because they were so friendly and unpretentious.
TwELFs blog has meaty content without sacrificing entertainment value. It is informational without sounding too serious and at the same time, provides all the fun tidbits for fans –newly minted or veteran.
SPL is oozing with creativity (e.g. forum members referred to as Students and Super Junior members as Professors!) and over a short period of time has gained the reputation of being one of the most acclaimed international forums for ELFs. SPL keeps making changes for the better and continues to carry out credible projects for Super Junior and ELFs. SPL is a labor of love, and I salute the people behind it, who are such dedicated hard-workers.
