it is that time of the year again… Super Junior’s album release and promotion.. and just like last year, we have the honor to assist international E.L.F. in this support project. Together with the official korean E.L.F. team, TwELFs will be taking SJ’s 5th album pre-orders for fans. Note that we won’t be covering all countries as shipping cost may be too much for orders less than the number of your fingers. Having said that, we will still be accepting donations which will then be used to increase album sales through promotion in Seoul.

Please read through the instruction and info below carefully and before you hit that ‘x’ button on your browser tab, let me remind you the joy and pride we felt when the boys snagged GDA two years ago. Oh and this is posted on the official support site of the 5th album so expect weird-sounding terms and parts. Questions related to the site

1. What site is this?

This site is for “Super Junior’s 5th album subscription sale” site.
If you think of it as a kind of insurance for Super Junior, and for my precious ears, it’d be easier to understand^^
For those who want to get ready getting Super Junior’s 5jib, please read carefully The 1st  Subscription sale notice then send money through whichever bank you prefer.

Since this is album insurance, albums WON’T BE sent in order after the release. The albums will be sent AT LEAST three weeks after it’s first release, if you prefer to get the album ASAP then please do so through any on/off sites or shops like ShinNaRa, Hottracks, LeaseMusic, etc~ (Shipping week could be changed depending on the situation.)

★We will NEVER send the albums during its first release~ Please keep this in mind and make sure you buy the albums separately on your own ~
As said, this project’s concept is “INSURANCE” !!! ^^  ( If you only wait for your subscripted album then our album sales will hit the bottom ….ㅠ make sure to get them on your own!!)

Everyone must have been bitter in 2010~ Let’s prepare for 2011 and make it big this time~^^

2. What is The 1st  5jib Subscription?

So far, we have no idea about the exact amount of the album as Super Junior’s 5th album release date hasn’t been decided. So we have estimated the amount through other singers’ album prices, and this is The 1st 5jib Subscription. (It’s been said that the album prices are decided one to two weeks before the album’s release date.)

3. What do we do when the actual price of album is different with the amount we transferred for The 1st 5jib Subscription?

(★the actual price of album: the exact amount or price when the actual album comes out)

• ▶If the money estimated is less than the actual price
  - We will post notices, send messages one to one, or contact through sms the amount of money and time for the additional payment you have to make. Once you get the notices, just make the extra payment.
• ▷If you DO NOT make the extra payment
  -The money will be automatically be used for donations to buy more albums. NO REFUNDS.
• ▶If the money estimated is more than the actual price
  - If there is extra money left after summing up both album and shipping price from the estimated price, then the remaining amount will be automatically be used to donations, which will be used to buy more albums.

4. When there will be The 2nd Subscription?

After the 5jib’s price has been confirmed, there will be notices about the 2nd Subscription. (After it’s been said the album WILL BE released)

5. Will it count towards the HanTeo Chart?

Of course it’ll be counted for sure!!

6. What should I do if I want to buy more than once?

If you’re participating more than once than you only have to pay shipping price for one. You’re your second payment, just let us know it’s your second payment when you’re writing on the payment check board. So even if you’ve ordered more than once at different times, you’ll still get the albums at the same time because it’ll be sent after the release~^^

Q&A regarding shipping

1. When will the albums get sent?

As we have said above, this site is insurance for Super Junior, and for my precious ears.
Therefore, the albums won’t get sent in order as soon as the albums are released, but sent after the release depending on the situation. For example, depending on the situation the albums could be sent 3 or 5 weeks after the release, or sent at the end of 2011 for year-end album buying.

( But if the albums are not going to be sent in fixed period of time, albums will be sent in the order of payment.)
ex) Bulk at 3 weeks, another bulk at 5 weeks, and the remaining in the year end~!!

If you wish to get the album ASAP then please do so through any on/off sites or shops like ShinNaRa, Hottracks, LeaseMusic, etc~^^

2. What do I do if my address/contact information has changed?

Every term, a list of how many albums with name will be updated. Please check your information then and if there is any changes made to it please let us know^^.  Please send us messages about your changed address and contact information~

Other Q&As

1. Do you guys do donations for online music as well?

We don’t accept donations for online music files.

For online music files (both online music files+ringtones) it’s been said that it needs at least 50,000 to 100,000 clicks and downloads to move up and down in the top list. We’ve tried last year during 4jib but it was inefficient where even all helpers tried to click and download it hardly got over 50,000 to 100,000 clicks and downloads. For this 5jib, we’ll try our best for album sales^^

There are more than hundred thousands of our fans so if we stream at least once a day we can get number one on the online chart~!!! Let’s save money and get the streaming tix~!!

2. Are we doing the just the money donations?

No we are not. We will also be doing the comeback stage support like last year for the 5th album (will be one of the four music programs: MCountDown, MusicBank, MusicCore, or InkiGayo), with food for the boys, staffs, and other singers for the music stage. It will be similar to what we did last year.

Please keep in mind that we need everyone’s participation in this~ And the most important thing to keep in mind is that this isn’t like the usual collaboration buying~
Pretty sure that everyone knows by now ^^~  And everyone! An important thing for albums is “the first buying” so once again, WE WON’T RELEASE ANY during the “first buys”~ It’ll be released at least three weeks after. Please keep this in mind and buy albums separately on your own~ As always this project is in the concept of “insurance” !!! ^^ Let’s make a daebak 5jib sales together!!!!!

How can international fans participate in this support project?

a. ALBUM PREORDER

We will be accepting a deposit of US$5 per album as an insurance until the album is released. You will then be notified the actual price of the album upon its release in Korea and required to transfer the remaining amount before shipment begins. Please note that the deposit is not refundable if you wish to cancel your order. The money will be put into use to help album promotion in Korea. Albums bought will count 100% towards Hanteo Chart, meaning it’ll contribute to the boys winning on music shows like Music Bank, InkiGayo, and MCountDown. And also will count towards Golden Disk album sales amount.

b. ALBUM DONATION

If your country does not qualify for album preorder (a minimum of 30 orders each country), your donation will be used by korean ELF to purchase more albums to increase sales.

c. COMEBACK STAGE SUPPORT DONATION

Just like the previous year with 4th album, we are funding Korean ELF in providing food support during Super Junior’s comeback stage (be it in Music Bank, Music Core, M!Countdown or Inkigayo). Food will also be provided for staffs and other artists performing on the day.
FOR NOW, DEADLINE FOR COMEBACK STAGE SUPPORT DONATIONS IS JULY 7TH but depending on the date of boys’ comeback, there might be extension for it.

• Album shipment will take place three weeks after the first release of the album
• Each country needs AT LEAST 30 albums ordered to have the shipping fee cut down for each person
• We will no longer accept orders THREE days prior to album release

Statement from United E.L.F. Fansite (U.E.F.)

Hello, we are from United E.L.F Fansite.

As you all know, we believe that there are problems about injustice that also relates not only to fairness but money.
I know that there are rumors going on that Kelfs are going to sue Golden Disk, but it is not 100% true.
We are contacting a lawyer about law suit and getting our money back, but we are not sure that we will actually have a law suit, but more likely to send a petition to the consumer center.

This is a translation of a writing that someone posted on korean website about GDA’s unfairness.

Please spread this post around so others can know the unfairness.

Also, we also state that we have no offense at all toward Girl’s Generation (SNSD). The purpose of this writing is to just show the world that Super Junior had this much success this year, but it just didn’t show in Golden Disk Award.

2010 year-end award is Super Junior’s!

The hashtags “youneedanupgrade”, “weloveyesung” and “howtogetslapped” are taking out the top three places in Twitter’s most talked about topics list on the morning of June 7.

The name of Korean Super Junior band member Kim Jong-woon (more commonly known by his stage name Yesung) has hit Twitter’s trending topics list after joining the social networking site earlier during the day. Fans are welcoming Yesung with the terms “Yesung Oppa” (currently in fourth place) and “#weloveyesung” (trending in second place).

MTV’s annual Movie Awards were held on Sunday June 6. Microbloggers are posting comments about the awards show, driving “MTV Movie” into fifth place. “Xtina”, a nickname for American singer Christina Aguilera also made it into Twitter’s most talked about topics as fans discuss her performance at the awards night. “Xtina” is trending in ninth place.

Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) is also a hotly discussed topic this morning, currently sitting in sixth place. The conference is set to take place later today and Twitter users are talking about the possibility of Apple releasing the iPhone “HD”, and a “Magic Trackpad” add-on for Apple laptop and desktop users that would enable them to control their PC with finger-based gestures.

The annual “Summer Jam” rap music festival is new in the charts in seventh place. “Oil Spill” follows one place behind, dropping two spots over night. “Another Cinderella Story”, the name of the 2008 romantic comedy film featuring Selena Gomez, Jane Lynch and Andrew Seeley is in the charts at number ten.
