SINGAPORE : Super Junior fans’ prayers have been answered.
Concert promoter Running Into The Sun announced Wednesday that the popular K-pop band will add another show to the Singapore leg of the “Super Show 3 – Super Junior The Third Asia Tour” to meet overwhelming response.
To be held on January 30 at the Singapore Indoor Stadium, the concert will kick off at 4pm.
Tickets are priced at S$158 and S$208, and OCBC cardmembers or SingTel customers with a Samsung mobile phone will be able to purchase tickets from December 6 by flashing their mobile phones at SISTIC outlets. Sale of tickets to the public will be available from December 9.
Tickets to Super Junior’s January 29 show were snapped up within one and a half hours when priority sales opened on November 20, while an additional release of 200 tickets on November 23 were gone within 10 minutes.
“We expected tickets to sell like hotcakes but it was still jaw-dropping watching the system report 1,000 tickets sold online within 15 minutes. It felt like watching the stock market move and we were worried that there wouldn’t be enough tickets for the fans, especially for those who queued overnight,” said Beatrice-Chia Richmond, creative director of Running Into The Sun.
“Following numerous requests from fans, we spoke to the Super Junior management immediately to request for an additional concert night, and we are thrilled that we finally managed to confirm a second night for the fans,” she added.
“With this, we hope we will be able to meet the demand of the fans here.”

Finally, the long awaited moment has arrived. As announced few weeks back, SM Entertainment will release Super Junior The 2nd Asia Tour: Super Show 2 DVD in late October 2010. They will be distributed on the 29th of October 2010 in South Korea but of course fans especially those living overseas can already reserve a copy (or two) online for pre-order.

The representative for the concert expressed that “2010 Incheon Korean Wave Concert will bring out outstanding and glamorous stage than any year have. As this is one of the biggest Asia concert, we want to let the world know what Korean Music is all about, and we believe that this concert will again bring out the korean hype/trend”.
Incheon Korean Wave concert will held on the 29th of August, not only there are songs and idols performing, this concert is held at Incheon city, which the person in charge of the city will be attending as well. And Incheon Tourism Organization and HH company, will also be collaborating together. It will held on the 29th of August, 7PM at Incheon World Cup Stadium. Idols who will be participating in this concert are BoA, Super Junior, 2PM, SE7EN, Taeyang, Girl’s Generation, SHINee, CN Blue, Mblaq and other singers/groups that will show interesting performances for everyone.
The concert this time also brings attention to overseas media, “This time, the concert not only attract attention from Asia media like Japan, China, HongKong, Taiwan, America’s CNN brazil Channel, CNN en Espanol and France magazines, total up of more than 100 media and reporters will be participating in this as well.”

Why I love Super Junior? I wasn’t into K-Pop when Super Junior debuted, I started noticing them only after they released Sorry Sorry (in my opinion, THE song that shot them to superstardom and got them where they are right now). My first impression of them was “Why so many members?” and “What’s with the haircut?” While watching EHB, it was then when I realized that these boys began to grow on me. They have a nonchalant approach to fame and they don’t take themselves too seriously, that’s a quality I rarely find in other K-Pop groups. I realize in Korean entertainment world, idol images are shaped and they have to maintain that, but every so often, with SJ members, their real personalities appear in interviews, variety shows, radio broadcasts and especially Super Show. They way they interact with each other make me feel like I’m watching the boys-next-door, approachable, funny, dorky and humble. I guess that imperfection shows that they are real and relatable.
Why I love TwELFs and SPL? When I first started collecting information about Super Junior, I stumbled upon several fanbases, but TwELFs stood out to my attention immediately for several reasons: quality content, good English, pleasing to the eyes & easy to navigate.Like any other new converts, I joined in the fandom bandwagon and participated with gusto especially on Trending Topic projects. I was surprised to know that TwELFs founders were still in college, because they ran a tight ship with the blog and Twitter account. I was even more pleasantly surprised when I communicated via Twitter with the founders, because they were so friendly and unpretentious.
TwELFs blog has meaty content without sacrificing entertainment value. It is informational without sounding too serious and at the same time, provides all the fun tidbits for fans –newly minted or veteran.
SPL is oozing with creativity (e.g. forum members referred to as Students and Super Junior members as Professors!) and over a short period of time has gained the reputation of being one of the most acclaimed international forums for ELFs. SPL keeps making changes for the better and continues to carry out credible projects for Super Junior and ELFs. SPL is a labor of love, and I salute the people behind it, who are such dedicated hard-workers.
