Well I just got back the million of milkshakes event. It was fantastic. Geng looked so sexy in his white fidora. I saw the girl he took pictures with on the internet. Because I used a camera not a digital camera, my pictures will be ready tomorrow. I shook his hand twice, got his autograph. He was so surprised to see me, I was the only african american person there. The look on his face was priceless. I have about two roles of film. I know other people had digital camera so they should be uploading soon.

We had our Hangeng yellow flags. He made this delicious milkshake it’s called the I believe Hangeng shake dance. He fed one of his fans a kit kat bar…I wish I was her. We went inside where he was making the milkshake and it was crowded but fantastic I got alot of great pictures of him. He spoke a little English…not much but he had a translater and he was gracious. He was almost an hour late but he sooooooo made up for it. I gave him a dragon necklace, for protection.

I met so many of his fans, it was amazing. He’s truly a beautiful person inside and out. I was interviewed on a Hongkong TV station. I did the sorry dance and it’s going to be the lead for tonight’s story. The reporter gave me her card and she’s send the link. You guys will have a great laugh watching me do Super Junior’s Sorry Sorry Dance.

I know the other prayer group members will fill you in on the other details I left out. Oh I almost forgot…I got there at 3pm. He arrived at 4pm for about five minutes. They were showing him the ingrediants for the shake. He had no idea me and another fan were there…she was able to get a picture of him, but I couldn’t. His assistant politely told me no pictures at this moment and I respected his wishes. Hangeng was gracious, he met every one of his fans and I’ve become a bigger fan if that is possible.

He looks even better in person. The pictures don’t do him justice and he gained weight…it doesn’t look like it but in person he really has gained weight. One of the girls told me he’s staying in Monterey Park, CA and learning English there. That’s just what I heard, I can’t confirm it.

All those wonderful accounts about how gorgeous Mr. Han was at the event were already spread to all of Han Geng fans. Therefore, instead of talking about the event itself, I want to share one special story my family experienced on March 23, 2010.

As the one-hour event was finally over, Mr. Han and his group rode in the black luxurious limousine. I had to sallow a laughter when Mr. Han unexpectedly popped out from the ceiling of the limousine and waved to his fans. He was just so playful and seemed to enjoy the moment. Cutie Mr. Han.

Since another white truck blocked the driveway of the limousine, the limousine had to wait a little bit on the curb. Since I knew that people inside the limousine were able to clearly see outside, I was holding a scarf that prints “Love you, Han Geng” in Korean.

As the limousine was ready to change the lane, my husband, putting my son on his shoulder, joined me.

Let’s picture this: The Kim Family.

One middle-aged man with putting his little son on his shoulder along with one star-obssessed wife who was holding a “Love You, Han Geng” scarf.

Although the windows were heavily tinted, I was able to recognize people inside the limousine since they let the indoor lights on.

One man inside the limousine pointed us. So I started flagging the scarf hoping Mr. Han would be able to see the scarf.

(Yes, Mr. Han is familiar with the scarf, which was produced by a Han Geng Korean fan site www.19840209.com for Super Show II last summer. )

I really wanted to let him know that Korean fans’ support and love.

Then a person next to the man pulled out his head and saw us.

It was Mr. Han!

He even pulled out his torso so he could see us better.

Very excited, my husband and I showed him two thumbs-up gestures.

Then Mr. Han showed us two thumbs-up gestures in return.

He seemed to exaggerate the actions to make sure we could see him.

More excited, we kept showing him two thumbs-up, which implied that “We Korean fans think you are the BEST no matter what!”

Although it was a very brief moment that Mr. Han and we exchanged such enthusiastic two thumbs-up actions, we felt that Mr. Han really enjoyed my family’s support.

Just right before the limousine changing the lane, the window got rolled down and one man sticked out his head and took pictures of my family.

At the moment, unconsciously I shouted out, ” Korean Fans Support Han Geng!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

I am not sure if the gentleman got what I said. I wish he could understand English.

However, the gentleman did not take eyes off from my family until the limousine finally took off.

Probably… Mr. Han and his group might talk about my family, the Kim family, the Korean fans, at dinner, looking at our picture.

I really hope…

Anyway, I felt great since Mr. Han recognized Korean fans’ support.

In addition, there was another special moment.

The paper my son got Mr. Han’s autograph on was a postcard produced by www.hangeng.net, the first and oldest Korean Han Geng fan site.

The front side has Mr. Han’s picture and the logo of www.hangeng.net in Korean. Yes, again, Mr. Han is fully aware of this fan site.

When Mr. Han got the postcard, he appeared to pause and gaze it for a while. It might be just my imagination, but I felt Mr. Han felt something by seeing the postcard, which might remind him of his Korean fans.

I really wanted to show Mr. Han that we Korean fans would not forget him and would support him no matter what. So that’s why I brought those goodies produced by two Korean fan sites that Mr. Han is very familiar with.

After the limousine left the scene, I felt a huge relief.

I felt like I completed my mission as a Korean Geng fan:

Letting him know that we Korean fans love him.

Letting him know that we Korean fans support him.

We are fully aware that Mr.Han is not flying away from us, but he is flying high up in the sky.

After I posted this story at my Naver’s blog, Korean fans were very happy that Mr. Han recognized Korean fans support. Some of them said that they were teary when reading the part where Mr. Han gazed the postcard produced by www.hangeng.net for a while.

YES, we support Mr. Han.

It does not matter whether he stays with the SME or not.

Just want to add another story to tell how much Han Geng loves his fans. A girl posted some details at gengbar about what happened when she tried to give Han Geng gift package. It was really hard to pass on gift to Han Geng, since the bodyguard tried his best to stop it (well, I guess that’s part of his job), but eventually, one girl successfully threw the gift package into the limo on an empty seat, she saw Han Geng moved immediately to pick up the gift and sat back…she was a bit surprised, as she wondered why he had to pick up the gift so quickly since it was in the car already…then her friend standing beside told her that the bodyguard was pissed off by her action, attempted to grasp the gift and throw it out…so Han Geng reacted quickly and protected the gift. He is protecting his fans. The Love is mutual between Han Geng and his fans, it really can be a life-time happiness to be a fan of such star.

Today (I) saw Geng* had a public appearance, of course I, who was headed toward LA, went to see
But on the route, which was originally supposed to be 50min by car, I drove for nearly 2 hours
Until I nearly coughed up blood**, driving and cursing at the same time
The freeway was entirely traffic, don’t know why there was so much traffic
And it was said that Geng would appear at 6, but I didn’t know how long he would stay
So at 6, I was still stuck on the freeway, frantic
Praying for a miracle to happen, also singing ‘Miracle’ 囧***
Afraid that when I got there, it would be packed with people
When I got there, I couldn’t get a parking space; inside I kept cursing.
Today was possible the day where i cursed the most ha XDD
I arrived at around 7:30, Geng was still inside, I was super happy!!
Inside there were a lot of fans, later they came out because Geng was leaving
There were about 20-30 fans, there wasn’t a lot, most of them were Chinese
It wasn’t to the point where people were squishing each other
Some fans were holding yellow flags, the word “Geng” was written on it with other words
Because the other words were too small, I only saw “Geng”
So, because I was waiting outside, the seats were considered good, ha
After the interview inside was over, Geng appeared, in person he was quite skinny and tall
But because he was wearing a hat, it was sort of hard to see
He passed in front of me, because I didn’t have hands (T/N: hands were full) so I can’t wave, but can’t not wave (meaning she wants to wave but can’t)
After he was finished shaking the hand of the person to my left, I hurriedly reached out
I was afraid Geng wouldn’t shake my hand, luckily he saw me reach out !! (tear
I was happy about Geng standing in front of me and shaking my hand
All I could think was ”Geng shook my hand !!!!! He smiled at me !!!!” For a second, my brain froze
Entirely blank, really
On the car, I was still looking at my hand, kind of like an idiot XDD
Geng’s hand was very warm, and it was also very tender (?)
I told him I was a fan from Taiwan, but it seems like he didn’t hear
Because there were a lot of people, it was noisy haha XD
Later someone asked Geng for an autograph, but I was too slow, I didn’t get one
It was a pity

On the car, I regretted it ˊˋ
Later, Geng got on the car, it was a limo
Geng stuck his head of the window on top, saying byebye
It was obvious Geng was pretty happy

• Why I love Super Junior? I wasn’t into K-Pop when Super Junior debuted, I started noticing them only after they released Sorry Sorry (in my opinion, THE song that shot them to superstardom and got them where they are right now). My first impression of them was “Why so many members?” and “What’s with the haircut?” While watching EHB, it was then when I realized that these boys began to grow on me. They have a nonchalant approach to fame and they don’t take themselves too seriously, that’s a quality I rarely find in other K-Pop groups. I realize in Korean entertainment world, idol images are shaped and they have to maintain that, but every so often, with SJ members, their real personalities appear in interviews, variety shows, radio broadcasts and especially Super Show. They way they interact with each other make me feel like I’m watching the boys-next-door, approachable, funny, dorky and humble. I guess that imperfection shows that they are real and relatable.
  
  Why I love TwELFs and SPL? When I first started collecting information about Super Junior, I stumbled upon several fanbases, but TwELFs stood out to my attention immediately for several reasons: quality content, good English, pleasing to the eyes & easy to navigate.Like any other new converts, I joined in the fandom bandwagon and participated with gusto especially on Trending Topic projects. I was surprised to know that TwELFs founders were still in college, because they ran a tight ship with the blog and Twitter account. I was even more pleasantly surprised when I communicated via Twitter with the founders, because they were so friendly and unpretentious. TwELFs blog has meaty content without sacrificing entertainment value. It is informational without sounding too serious and at the same time, provides all the fun tidbits for fans –newly minted or veteran.
  
  SPL is oozing with creativity (e.g. forum members referred to as Students and Super Junior members as Professors!) and over a short period of time has gained the reputation of being one of the most acclaimed international forums for ELFs. SPL keeps making changes for the better and continues to carry out credible projects for Super Junior and ELFs. SPL is a labor of love, and I salute the people behind it, who are such dedicated hard-workers.
